One-on-one individual training. Whether you're seeking to lose weight, increase stamina, work on balance/coordination or you're recovering from an injury, personal training is specific to your needs.
Grab a friend or relative and get a more individualized personal training plan than a class would give with the benefit of having a buddy!
Groups of 4 (min) to 8 (max) will experience a more personalized strength training program, learn proper form and how to increase weight safely and effectively!
Group times are as follows:
Tues/Thurs 9: 30 am

Mon/Thurs
4:30-5:15 pm
6:00 - 6:45 pm
6:45-7:30 pm

15 minute MFR treatments are available. This includes treating skeletal muscle immobility and pain by relaxing contracted muscles, improving blood circulation and the stretch reflex in muscles.

We take your fitness goals seriously. We understand that losing weight and gaining muscle can be challenging, and that just like anything in life, knowledge is power. At SST, we will not only help you reach your goals, but will also teach you how to train with proper technique every time, which reduces injury and provides you with a solid foundation to eventually fly on your own. Your body type, BMI, and metabolism will be analyzed to create an individualized fitness plan specific to your body.
Mandy is certified through National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)
It is the leading certification in the world of fitness. She is also certified as a Corrective Exercise Specialist, which allows her to work with individuals dealing with injuries and helps clients to learn injury prevention. Her Performance Enhancement Certification allows her to work with athletes wanting to increase their potential, whether amateur or professional. She also works with senior citizens wanting to increase their range of motion, improve balance and posture and increase strength. Clients dealing with disease are also a passionate part of her work. Her father passed away due to complications with dementia and Parkinson's Disease. She has worked with numerous clientele dealing with diseases such as MS, Cancer, Autoimmune disorders, Parkinson's, Stroke and Osteoporosis.
Mandy started her fitness career at the age of 18 after receiving her Associate's in Science and Health/Fitness certification. She went on to receive her Bachelor's in Business in 2005. She is married to her husband, Tom, of 18 years, and they have 4 children, two daughters, and two sons, with ages ranging from elementary to high school.
After taking some time off from the industry in 2005 to raise her children, Mandy went back to get re-certified in 2014 through NASM and began working at a local gym in her native town near Chicago. Her family moved to Canton, GA in June 2017 and Mandy decided to open her fitness studio Solid Strength Training in November 2017.
Mandy has competed in hundreds of races over the years including 5k's, 10k's, half-marathons, sprint triathlons, and Spartan. She is now a competitive powerlifter and has placed 1st and 2nd in open and age, placed in National's, which qualified her to go to World's. She plans to compete again in GA very soon.
Teaching others to build a "solid" foundation to improve their health and wellness through weight training.
